About Walton Orchestra
The Walton High School Orchestra program was founded in 1975. The orchestra program has a long history of excellence. Directed by Perry Holbrook and Sara Grimes, the program currently enrolls over 400 string players in seven string orchestra classes.
Directors
Dr. Perry Holbrook has taught orchestra at Walton High School since 2001. Mrs. Sara Grimes returned to her alma mater to teach in 2010. Together, they conduct the 7 orchestra classes. Additionally, Dr. Holbrook teaches AP Music Theory, and Mrs. Grimes serves as the Walton Fine Arts Department Chair.
